Brief Biodata
Dr. Sushil Bhadula did his B.Sc. (2006), M.Sc. (2008) from Kumaun University and Ph.D (2012) from the Gurukula Kangri University. He joined Ph.D program in the Department of Zoology and Environmental Science of Gurukula Kangri University, Haridwar through Research Entrance Test (RET) first time conducted by the Gurukula Kangri University. He obtained his Ph.D degree in the subject of Zoology through Research Methodology course work and “UGC regulation 2009” under the supervision of Prof. B.D. Joshi.
He has joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at Uttaranchal College of Science & Technology, Dehradun and successfully supervised four M.Sc students during the dissertation work and also acted as external expert during the examination of graduate and post graduate level.
Dr. Bhadula joined Department of Environmental science as assistant professor at Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar in 2013 and worked till August, 2018. He is presently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Zoology, Dr. Shivanand Nautiyal Government Degree College, Vedikhal, Uttarakhand. Dr. Bhadula has published more than 50 Research Papers in Journals of International and National of high repute and 28 units of Uttarakhand Open University for Masters and Bachelor levels program. He has attended and contributed his research work in more than 30 conferences/seminars/symposia and also participated in numbers of training workshops at International and National level. Dr. Bhadula is editorial secretariat of the Journal of Environment and Biosciences.
Dr. Bhadula is a life member of various academic bodies such as Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences (IAES), Hardwar, Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Kolkata, Zoological Society of India (ZSI), Society of Environmental Education and Mass Awareness etc. He has been instrumental in celebrating/organizing events on the Earth Day, World Environment Day, Wild Life Week and Ozone day in the college every year.
Dr. Bhadula has been conferred Congress of Zoology Medal of ZSI in the field of Fish and Fisheries, Honorary Fellowship by Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences and Society of Environmental Education and Mass Awareness for his valuable contribution in the field of Fish and Fisheries and aquatic ecosystems.
The research work of Dr. Bhadula on fish and fisheries and aquatic biology is being widely cited by various researchers in their research communications. In the year 2014, Dr. Bhadula delivered invited lecture on the Hydro-biology at Kazimeirz Weilki University, Bydgoszcz, Poland and also attended 10 days training programme on Revitalization of waterways in the same university.
He has completed one extensive research survey on the Impact of Navigation of Aquatic Biology of river Ganga from Allahabad to Haldia. Dr. Bhadula acted as resource person at various platforms such as Seminar, symposia, workshops etc. He is expert members of various universities of India.
