Code of Conduct

Disciplined students are centre of attraction for any college. Dr. Shivananda Nautiyal Degree College also committed toward code of conduct which is also displayed on the college website.  There is a committee to monitor adherence to the Code of Conduct. There are code of conduct for students which are given here:

  1. Students must be punctual and regular in classes and examinations.
  2. Students must have their identity card.
  3. Student must be seated in their classrooms at the beginning of each period. They must not enter or leave the class room without permission of the professors.
  4. Use of Mobile Phone during class hours is prohibited.
  5. Students must wear uniform in the college premises.
  6. Students are not allowed to loiter or stand about the verandas or corridors of the College during class hours.
  7. Students must attend prayer assembly every day.
  8. Students are not allowed from inviting friends from outside to the College.
  9. Smoking, chewing and spitting tobacco products, consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the college campus. The college premises is a smoking free zone, respect it.
  10. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Disciplinary action will be taken against those who violate this rule. It is mandatory for all students and guardians to sign an affidavit in the pro forma prescribed by Government of India. All the students are hereby informed that they must have fill anti-ragging form online through https://www.antiragging.in/affidavit_affiliated_form.php and deposit in the college with their parent signature.

 

Teachers should know their duties and responsibility ethically and professionally. A teacher observed by society in general and students by particular. There are code of conduct for teachers which are given here:

  • Teachers should perform their work in the form of teaching, practical, seminar, research etc. with full of dedication.
  • Teachers must believe in cooperative work.
  • Teacher must participate in extension, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Teacher must be punctual in their classes and academic meetings.
  • Institution organizes professional ethics programmes for students, teachers, administrators and other staff
  • Annual awareness programmes on Code of Conduct are organized
